PERSONALITY

Gawain was born to do one thing and one thing only, to sever the O'Brien family. It was his life work, at least his life work according to his father. So Gawain is loyal and fiercely protective. He comes across as cold and aloof when he is working, like he is uncaring about all human life and all that he cares about is what he was tasked to do. But deep down he is a sweet caring man, with this warmth about him. He really cares for each of his student and wishes that he didn't become exposed to the life that he leads but part of him knows it's inevitable. So all he can hope to do is prepare them for the battle they will face.

HISTORY

Gawain was born to a poor immigrant Irish family, he can still just make out the life on the farm. How hard his father worked to try and save it but in the end they ended up losing it in the end. So he basically grew up in the slums in New York city where his dad fell into the right circles and ended up working for the O'Brien's. Their family owned everything to them even if the work lead to the death of his father when he was sixteen which left an emotional scar on the boy which still runs deep to this day. He did finish school and went straight to work for the family that had kept his safe and pulled the out of the slums years ago. Gawain is aware of the fact that he is forever in their debut and even becoming a teacher didn't stop the fact that he will drop everything to sever the O'Brien's need.
