Anya O'Brien
PERSONALITY If there was only one word allowed to describe Anya, it would be quick. She was quick witted, quick off the mark, quick on the draw, quick on the uptake. She works on impulse, on instinct. She's fast and precise, all deadly traits for a woman. As a woman, on another note, Anya doesn't agree with the structure given for the sexes by society. Cooking, cleaning, obeying... none of those things rub her the right away and she quickly pushed away the ideals of tradition. The only time, however, will she follow the rules are if her father is the one giving them in a place of business. Conforming is not in her blood. Anya is also well known for stating her honest opinions in the most snarky of fashions. She was bold, brash, and extremely self-confident individual. HISTORY Anya is the first daughter and first child of Cormac O'Brien. That was her first mistake in a life where she'd have many out of her control. Women were less respected, not only by society, but by her beloved father as well. Even with his high appreciation towards his male relatives, Anya lived the early part of her life attempting to gain Cormac's respect. Her highest goal, which wasn't what most thought (control over the family business), was just that. When her brother was born, still a child herself, Anya knew there was nothing she truly could do to win over her father. After the death of her mother, Anya played the role of a nurturing character. Clearly, that wasn’t her strongest suit, yet she still tries to act motherly towards her younger sisters. Anya decided to no longer worry about impressing her father, instead she decided it'd be best to piss him and every male off she could, excluding her baby brother. They preferred long hair, she chopped hers off. They thought a lady shouldn't smoke, she took up a pack a day. Perhaps even with the rebellion, she still fought for her father to hold her in a high position and that's why she still worked incredibly well. Did you read the rules? Destiel is a thing... or something. |
