Aaron Winston

PERSONALITY

Calm and collected, Aaron has all the assets to mark him clearly as a Winston, like his relatives across the pond. He is tall and gentlemanly and speaks with an accent. But unlike his stuffy relatives, he is, surprisingly, even tempered and has a very easy smile. He rarely finds a reason to raise his voice and thinks doing so causes more harm than good. He is not (unlike his future great-great-great something or other grand nephew) quick to temper although angering this seemingly gentle giant will produce almost volatile results.
He's pretty forward thinking, and has surprising wit. He doesn't mind letting women take the floor and applauds and encourages his female students. And his male students. And any student. Ja- I mean Aaron- is very personable no matter the sex. Which leads some to question the man for his deviance. But like a true Winston that he claims he isn't, Aaron goes hard when it comes to love, loving both freely and wholly anyone he is with.

HISTORY

Aaron comes from a long line of Winston's. While not in the actual main line, he has certain rights and priveliges that anyone in his family gets. A certain monthly allowance still stems in, even though he went 'black sheep' years ago to pursue his rather bizarre dream. You see, Aaron loves plant. Any Winston worth their salt can garde, but Aaron years ago decided to devote himself to the study of plants both magical and non. Teaching was a good way for him to spread the knowledge he found, and to perhaps learn more, about the plants he has come to love.

Which his parents, ever the opportunists, wholly disapproved of. They wanted their only son to use his knowledge of plants to poison the main line and take over the Winston fortune where they could lounge off the gold and power that came along with the titles. Aaron refused point blank and even went to the head of the family. Lucien Winston merely scolded Aaron for not playing the game properly and dismissed him.

Not getting recognition or acceptance and support from his family, Aaron fled to America. He landed his position at the seemingly quiet academy, staying out of the politicing of the feuding families. For the most part.
