Pietro Carlo (Antonucchi) Holland

PERSONALITY

Pietro is rather the opposite of his brash, irascible, womanizing twin. Though they get along well and have an incredibly tight bond, Pietro does not always approve of the way River behaves. One thing they definitely have in common, though, is their protective love for their younger sister, Suki. In general, Pietro is defined by his absolute, unquestioning devotion to the Antonucchi family. He is remarkably intelligent, and as a result, he has a thorough understanding of the fact that he has benefited greatly from his birth and should do everything possible to repay that debt.

Pietro has a basically gentle nature, but is willing and able to fight in defense of what he holds dear. In general, though, his quiet kindness helps him to be an effective and compassionate professor. Similarly to most other men of his time, he does not regard women as highly as he does men. However, he feels that women are to be protected, not abused. His demeanor towards them can often seem grating in its condescension, but he would never raise a hand against a woman. He feels guilty even raising his voice against them.

Long story short, Pietro is an intellectual who is firmly in the service of his family and does his best to behave respectfully toward anybody who is not directly opposed to the benefit of the Antonucchi clan.

HISTORY

Son of Santo Antonucchi, Pietro is a nephew of the Antonucchi family Don. Being a member of such an important branch of the family, Pietro was raised in luxury and pseudo-secrecy. He and his twin brother, River, always understood that they would be expected to work for the benefit of the Antonucchi crime family.

Pietro attended Cascade Academy under an assumed name (Holland), and he was a member of Aer House. He excelled in school due to his intelligence and his hard-working nature. He was a Prefect, and then Head Boy. Though he is strong and capable on a broom, he didn't play Quidditch. His extracurricular focus was on dueling and studying the great military strategists of the past.

Now, at the age of 25, he works as Potions professor at Cascade Academy. He is highly valued within the Antonucchi ranks as a brilliant strategist, but he is also called on to fight when necessary. Though he is not generally violent, he is certainly willing to do what it takes to serve the family that he loves.
