Cormac Padraig O'Brien

PERSONALITY

Cormac does not give a damn about you if you are not part of his family business. Even within the family business, he has no problem prioritizing people. Those who are related to him by blood are more important than those who are not, and those who are in his immediate family (and male) are more important than those who are in other branches in the family. Cormac is narcissistic and self-serving.

Appearances are very important to Cormac, so he is unfailingly polite. He has, over the years, developed a careful control over his powerful rage. He is highly intelligent when it comes to business concerns, and overwhelmingly devoted to everything O'Brien.

HISTORY

Cormac was born in 1880 and is the oldest son born to Padraig O'Brien, the founder of the O'Brien crime family. As a result, Cormac was raised and groomed to become a brutal, calculating, powerful man. He attended Cascade Academy as a Fuego House student. He was a Prefect, and later he was Head Boy. He excelled in academics due to his father's high expectations, and he spent countless hours of his youth learning any and all skills that would help him become a skilled fighter and "businessman."

After graduating from Cascade, Cormac got a job as a police officer in Camden Hills and, thanks to his father's influence, quickly advanced in the ranks.

In 1900, he married his school sweetheart, Darcy Cassidy, and got to work on producing an heir to the family business. In 1902 their first daughter was born, followed by a son in 1905, another girl in 1908, and a third daughter in 1914. Disappointed to have only one son, Cormac and Darcy continued trying until she unfortunately passed away in 1916 due to complications of childbirth. Cormac, of course, had already started training his son in all the necessary skills, so the training merely intensified after the loss of Darcy.

In 1920, Padraig passed away due to a long-lingering illness, and Cormac officially became the head of the O'Brien crime family. He also works as the Chief of Camden Hills police, where he is perfectly situated to maneuver things to the benefit of his family.
