Mariella Rossi
PERSONALITY Mariella is everything a woman of her time should be; quiet, proper, sweet and caring. She was very sheltered growing up and was always under the watchful eyes of her parents or her brothers. Not that she minded because family is the most important thing to her. Her devotion and loyal to her family is very strong and tends to keep her grounded. At a very young age she was taught all the things a young lady needs to know to become a desirable bride. She learned how to speak in French and English, how to play the piano and the harpsichord, how to knit and sew. She is very skilled at housework and cooking, cleaning and baking. She also can pray in Latin, English and Italian. But just because she seems like the sort of girl who would be a perfect Italian Cinderella there is still a lot of fire in her. She has passion and a temper just like her twin brother; however she valued her family view of her not to let it rule her. She is also a very proud woman, and knows how to stay prim and proper while sneaking in a nasty comment or two. Stubborn is her next strength and weakness, if Mariella wants something she will not rest until she has it Ella very much understands that she has a place in this world, and it will be behind a man. She was promised to be married to a man named Salvador since she was ten. Of course other events had to come in and destroy that plan. Now for the first time ever since that night she has had to find purpose somewhere else. She was always supposed to be a wife and now what does she do with herself? She feels very lost at this point in time, very bitter that the events that happen could have been avoid if she was if certain twins listen to her when they were young. She just hopes that maybe in America things will be different, and that her heart will stop hurting. HISTORY Mariella is the twin sister of Duilio and the youngest of the Rossi children. As their only girl she was showered with love and affections from both her parents who saw her at the perfect example of what it meant to be a Italian lady. Whenever she was taken anywhere she was showed off, and she always made a point to act like the perfect lady she was to make her parents proud. Even at the tender age of ten, many wanted the young girls hand in marriage and she was promised to a man named Salvador. He was five years her elder but came from a wonderful family that was well off and would take very good care of Mairella. However her parents wanted more for her than to just be a good wife, they wanted her to be lady and well verses in culture and magic so she was sent to school along with her brother and would only marry Salvador when she was done. Ella was a good enough student, but found her brother to be a big distraction at times. He was falling in with a bad crowed, one that did terrible underhanded things in order to make lager amounts of money. She didn’t know how far in her twin was but she knew that she he didn’t walk away now something terrible would happen. But all the begging and crying in the world didn’t seem to stop him from doing god knows what. And she knew her own family didn’t have clean hands but it wasn’t this, and if Duilio anger then wrong people… Ella didn’t want to think about it at the time. She finally gave up on trying to get her brother back on the right side. Maybe he knew what he was doing and therefor it would be okay. After all she had always had trust in him, he loved their family and had always done whatever needed to protect her. He wouldn’t even do anything to harm the family. Finally the time came, they had finished school she had just turned eighteen and she was about to be married to a man she loved more than anything. They were all home one evening, a small engagement party for the blushing couple. Ella didn’t think she had ever been happier, she was the perfect blushing bride and she loved the man she was going to marry. Sadly it wasn’t meant to be… She could still remember the first cruse that was throwing, the sound of her mother screams and the blood. Then her father… The smell of her own blood as Salvador kissed her one last time before hiding her up in an old wardrobe in a spare room. She can still see the terrible things that were done to her love though the crack in the door as she covered her mouth to stop herself from crying. He was dead, they were all dead and it was all because of him. Duilio set this onto the family, and now he was dragging her to America. To find old family that was supposed to take care of them. Never in her worst nightmares did Ella thing that this might happen and she feels like she might die of her sadness. Worst of all Ella doesn’t know if she can ever trust her brother again, the man who was always there for her, her confidant and her best friend; he was now like a stranger in her life and she didn’t know what to make of it. Because she still loves him and still needs him but he’s just not the same man anymore. And she is no longer his little Cinderella… Did you read the rules? DESTIEL FOREVER!! |
