PERSONALITY Before anything else, Rune is brilliant. He has a phenomenal spark of genius that drives him to do everything that he does. He spends his days reaching for the stars in every way he can, and would have drifted away long ago if not for the grounding influence of his sister. Rune cannot be described as a workaholic though, as his misdemeanours are pursued with easily as much enthusiasm as his work. Rune loves to work, loves to party, loves to build, loves to destroy. He approaches everything with a great deal of zeal. Rune gets his sister and him into a lot of trouble, and generally can get them out of it with her help. His vibrant love of life is infectious, and he tends to bring enthusiasm and enjoyment with him wherever he goes. HISTORY Rune likes to claim that he and his sister were born to the last true Vikings, a father who spent most of his time as a ship’s captain and a mother whose magical healings only avoided breaking the International Statute of Secrecy by the general acceptance of witches in the village where they lived. Of course, their mother was a beautiful woman and not a gnarled crone, and their father traded between Germany and Great Britain instead of raiding monasteries. Unfortunately for them all, the war marked the end of easy living for them as Northern Europe plunged into a depression. Together, Rune and Valo decided to abandon the rapidly declining continent and made their way to the booming United States. They decided that living in New York might be a bit too much of a stark change, and instead have set up shop in Camden Hills.
