Heath sat quietly in his study, listening to nothing but the sound of the crackling fireplace behind him. It was late evening, and he was busy attempting to write a letter to his father, who was currently in Paris on business matters. Because he had been away for more than a week, it was Heath's job to update him on their stash, their customers, and their income. It was mightily boring, and he had to fight to keep himself awake, but knowing it needed to be done in order to keep himself in the position that he easy in motivated Heath a bit. His job was tiring at times, but he did love the life of luxury he lived, so he supposed that sacrificing his own sanity and patience came with the profession.
After a few minutes, he exhaled loudly, set his black quill aside, then quickly folded the letter and enclosed it in a firm envelope; making sure to stamp it with the O'Brien seal. Joey then entered from the front of his study, and he smiled in greeting at his bodyguard as the large man took the letter from him, then announced of impending company at the request of his uncle Cormac.
With furrowed brows, Heath dismissed Joey out of the study, then pushed back out of his office chair and onto his feet. It had been a whole since he had spoken with his uncle, so he was confused as to who Cormac would sent over to his own home. Grabbing a cigarette off his desk, he brought it to his mouth and then lit it before wandering over to one of the he large bay windows of the room, silently looking out aimlessly.

After a solid few weeks of watching the interactions of a certain professor with his favorite pet, Teagan had gone to Cormac with a bit of information she had discovered. Pietro Antonucchi was high on the O'Brien hit list after what he had done to Maureen, leaving Teagan with the instructions to keep a close eye on him (which she had taken upon herself to do since she started teaching at the school anyway). And now, at last she finally had something to go off of - a weak point in the strong Antonucchi man's armor, and she was determined to use it.
Serafina Latini.
A seventh year student and Head Girl of the school, the two were pretty much inseparable. While they thought no one was watching, Teagan kept her eyes peeled and picked up on their blossoming romance. So, after informing Cormac about what was going on, he asked her to spread the word to other members of the family - starting with Heath. She hadn't seen him in quite some time, so it would certainly be an interesting interaction if she had to guess with both of them being pent up with raging sex drives and frustration on a nearly regular basis. And ever since Finley? ...she had found herself frustrated more often than not.
So, stepping into his study, she folded her arms across her chest and looked over at him. "You got a spare, doll?"

The night was quickly approaching, and Heath silently hoped that whoever he was meeting with wouldn't stay too long, as he wanted to get out of the large, exquisite house to drown his thoughts in a bottle of whiskey. Pulling the cigarette out of his lips, he breathed out a puff, then turned, hearing an oddly familiar voice from behind him.
His eyes immediately took in the figure of Tegan O'Malley...a girl who, though he hadn't seen in years, he still found to be insanely attractive. An eyebrow raised as she asked for a cigarette before nodding and motioning over to his desk. "You look good," he told her, his eyes trailing over her body before turning on his heel to fetch her a cigarette from the top of his working space. After grabbing one swiftly from the container, he handed it to her, then quickly lit it a few inches from her lips. "What are you doing here?" He then asked, arching an eyebrow at her once again before exhaling another puff.

"I know, love. It's my job to look good, after all. Have to keep you O'Brien boys on your toes," she said with a flirtatious wink. Still, she couldn't keep her own eyes from giving him a once over to take in the definition on what was exposed of his arms. Only her imagination could picture what was lying beneath his clothes, but she assumed that she would find out for herself in due time. Especially since she was borderline going insane with Finley being on her mind almost constantly.
He inquired of the reason for her visit and let out a stream of smoke from her lips. "To discuss Antonucchi business," she said with a shake of her head. She walked towards his desk slowly, taking in another drag from her cigarette as her hips swung along the way. Approaching it, she sat down atop it - making sure not to perch herself on any important documents or objects. "Cormac sent me to tell you what I discovered about Pietro Antonucchi. He has a weak spot - a young woman he is involved with - named Serafina Latini. She belongs to the Italian car makers of upstate New York. Loaded and an insanely intelligent student." She let the smoke sift from her lips once more. "I can only assume he told me to inform you before Finley because Finley isn't in his right mind at the moment."

He knew it was better not to let himself get caught up in her appearance, but frankly, he couldn't help it whatsoever. The girl in front of him practically smelt like anything and everything that was inviting. Fighting to keep his arousal down, he simply chuckled nervously at her words, only to perk up once she mentioned her intentions of being in his home.
So, Cormac had sent her to inform him about the Antonucchis. He had thought as muchk, but as soon as her words floated from her lips, he let out a swift line of smoke, then threw away the button of his cigarette before beginning to pace the room from side to side. Teagan was certainly right; Finley was losing his sanity daily, and soon, it would reach the levels of him having no sanity at all. He had been going mad with worry and rage for Maureen, and though Heath felt the same kind of yearning for revenge, he carried himself differently than his cousin.
"Latini," he murmured loudly, glancing at Teagan as he passed by her. "I know the name. My father used to work with someone in her family. Any word from Cormac about what the next move will be, then?"

It took her by no surprise as Heath began to pace back and forth in the room, and she watched him bounce back and forth like a rubber ball between two walls. Her poor Finley was in shambles over the torture of his baby sister, and she hate thinking about how much trouble he would find himself in within the next few weeks because of it. She decided then that it would be in her best interest as well as his for her to begin keeping a close watch on him. Perhaps she could rationalize with him and keep him grounded... If she could force her own pride out of her mind long enough to do so. Why did she care so much anyway? She didn't get attached to people like that. The only person she needed to look out for was herself.
"They're a rather powerful family themselves, so I don't doubt your father worked with them at some point. They just aren't quite in the same business as we are," she said with a small shrug, taking another drag from her cigarette. She let it rest inside her lungs for a few moments before emptying them through her nostrils and shrugging her shoulders. "I haven't been informed of any sort of plan. I think Cormac wants to look into matters further before we go attacking the girl. Because if I'm wrong - which I never am - then we could potentially piss off another family and have even more on our plates."

Heath continued to pace from side to side, figuring that, eventually, he would fall through the floorboards from wearing them down so much. The Latinis were as Teagan had said; a powerful, wealthy family in the automobile business, which was blowing up like no other business he had known. Despite their success, they were loyal to any and all Antonucchi that they could find, and for that reason, he wouldn't have minded if they were all taken out...preferably, at once. For now however, he would dwell on the knowledge he had received about one of their daughters. Seeing as how she was apparently the lover of Pietro Antonnuchi, he knew that getting a hold of her in one way or another would be the clear solution in order to seek revenge against the Italian family.
His hands tightened into fists as he flexed a bit, then eventually came to a stop in front of Teagan, who was currently still sitting up on his desk. He eyed her once more, then shook his head, looking back up to meet her eyes. "I suppose that is the smartest thing to do. Is there anything else?" He asked her.

Heath stopped pacing and slowly came to a halt in front of her. His mind was probably racing with a ideas on how to handle the situation, but she could only hope that he wasn't stupid enough to take matters into his own hands. After all, it would be a shame for such an attractive lad to lose his head to Cormac for acting out of turn. "I'm sure he will investigate further and come up with a plan shortly. But if we want to do things correctly, we aren't going to be able to act so brashly," she said with a shake of her head. Teagan wanted some sort of justice for Maureen as well - seeing as how much she meant to Finley - even if she was too stubborn and selfish to seek justice herself. Providing information was her job - not taking action.
"No, I'm afraid that's all," she said with a shake of her head, her blue eyes meeting his. His features were delicious to take in, and as wrong as she knew it was for how she felt about Finley...
'No. You do not get attached.'
"That is, unless you have a glass of scotch to offer me," she said with a smirk, flashing him a sly wink.

He growled lowly at her response, but then co,posed himself and nodded his head silently. She was, indeed, correct. Despite wanting nothing more than to take the Latini girl from Pietro and watch him suffer, the last thing he wanted was to end up on Cormac's wrong side. The only person that Heath truly feared in the world was, or course, his uncle. While he himself held a good amount of power, his fear uncle was the head of the whole family...and by being the head of the family, that meant he received not only the most power, but also the most support.
With a long sigh, Heath watched Teagan for a few seconds, then broke the casual, easy silence with a nod of his head, then moved to the nearest end table. "Ask and you shall receive," he smirked at her, quickly dealing out a small glass of scotch before turning and handing it to her.
"Are you trying something here?" He then asked, shooting her a questioning, yet amused expression as he poured himself a glass of his own.

Heath turned away for a few moments to fetch her a glass, and she finished off her cigarette while he stepped over towards the end table. She located an ashtray on his desk and put the butt out before looking back up to find a glass of scotch lingering in her sights. A small hand stretched out and accepted the glass, bringing it up to her lips and taking a swig of it. Definitely the finest scotch around, but what else was she to expect from such a popular drug lord who also happened to belong to the O'Brien family. "Fine scotch from a fine gentleman. I must be a lucky girl tonight," she said with a smirk, her eyes glancing about the study for a few moments before flicking back to him.
"Trying something? Whatever do you mean, love?" She asked with a mischievous smirk. "If I was trying something, don't you think I would have made something happen already? After all, I think you know me well enough to know that I go after what I want." It was true; she really did get everything she wanted.
"Though... Maybe I'm just playing the mouse in this game and waiting for you to act on your catlike reflexes and chase me," she added with a wink.

He suddenly felt like a ridiculous, stupid ass teenager again as he watched her move in front and to the side of him. She had mentioned something about the quality of scotch, and he did nothing except smirk at her a bit. He had hoped that, at the very least, his alcohol stash was appealing even to the most pickiest of people. Given who he was though, he was almost positive anyone could be satisfied.
She began to tease him not only with her words, but with her eyes. A part of Heath wanted to laugh...because, to him, this was nothing new. He was used to watching women attempt to seduce him in an effort to sleep with him...and sometimes, it worked for him them. His mind then involuntarily floated to Ana, the girl who was more than just a prostitute to him. Then again, that was her profession, and that was probably what she was doing right at that moment; doing her job and pleasing her customers. If she was willing to continue with her life the way that she was, then why couldn't he keep doing what he liked to do, too?
A sly, sultry smirk crossed the edges of his lips, and he hastily gulped down the contents of his glass before setting it back down on the end table. "I don't chase anyone," he told bluntly while eyeing her intensely. "I just...draw them in." He continued, slowly making his way to eventually standing over her, his gaze locked on her own. "Once I do that, then I just-" Heath snatched her upper arms between his hands, then pulled her towards him. "Take them."

The way Heath loomed over her was sexy and dominating all in itself, and Teagan could feel herself riling up with excitement. His eyes showed her that he was just as interested as she was - even if the two of them had some weird baggage going into the affair - and she smirked up at him as he mentioned not giving way to chase. That was fair because she didn't chase people either, so she could understand where he was coming from in that aspect. "Don't like to chase? Hmm, we might be at an impasse then," she said with a devious smirk.
His hands clenched around her biceps and snatched her towards him, pressing their bodies against one another. The heat radiating between them was immense and thick, but she couldn't help but to laugh lightly at his words. Leaning up on her toes, her lips brushed lightly against his ear as she whispered, "Well, keep on reeling, doll. You haven't caught me just yet."

Something about this girl reminded him exactly of Ana, and that both excited and annoyed him. She moved and acted just like the same girl that had been plaguing his mind for weeks now. Evers incentives the night at that Underground, she had left a mark on him, and though he hoped it would simply go away, it did not whatsoever.
With an impatient growl, he gripped her arms tighter, then pushed her backwards right up towards the edge of her desk. "I do not have the patience for games. Either fuck me, or leave." Heath told her, driving a knee between her legs while letting his mouth linger down from her ear towards the nape of her neck. "Judging from the way your body is reacting though," he hissed against her skin, "I know you want to stay."

A small sound emitted from her closed lips as he gripped her arms more tightly and backed her up against his desk. Teagan's eyes flicked to his in a challenging manner for a brief moment, but her composure was slightly cracked as he pushed his knee between her legs, causing her breath to hitch ever so slightly. This man was just as arrogant as Fin was if not more so, and that just made her want to eat him alive all that much more. So as he began to trail his lips from her ears down to her neck, she smirked a bit.
"Fuck you or leave?" She repeated, smirking a bit. "My, my, we're forward aren't we, Heath? Couldn't have anything to do with that frustration you feel towards a certain singer and prostitute, now would it?" Teagan wasn't an idiot; she could see that the two had chemistry together and that neither of them were willing to own up to it. She was hypocrisy at it's finest, though, seeing as she was in the exact same position with Finley.
Still, she wanted to push his buttons as much as possible, and her hand reached up and entangled in his hair to snatch him to her lips. She crashed her lips into his in an intense, open-mouthed kiss as her tongue violated his mouth.

The amount of tension that vibrated around both if them was so thick, Heath was sure he could have whipped out his wand and cut it with a knife. Teagan just radiated anything that had to do with sex, and she even looked like she was just waiting to be taken. Being who he was, Heath would admit that she excited him a bit. A woman who simply wouldn't just lay down and submit to everything was arousing. There was a thrill in making a woman give into him, and given his experience, it had happened a lot.
It was then that she mentioned Ana, and a small, timid part of him froze. He had known that she visited the Underground, but was she really that observant to notice the exchanges he had had with her? A cold scowl crossed his face right before she had attacked him with her mouth. Right then, he got caught up in the arousement of it all and quickly returned the kiss fervently. His hands quickly got to work exploring the lengthy of her body; his fingers trailing against the sides of her thighs. She was intoxicating in her own little way, and it took everything he had to pull away from her mouth, then dropped his own back towards the nape of her neck.
"If you ever speak of what you have seen between me and the prostitute, or tell my uncle," his lips vibrated against her skin before finding a soft, sensitive place to bite down on. After a few seconds, he pulled away, his voice still lowly and sultry,"then I'll make sure you'll regret it."
