Listening to Bella speak, Arne nodded quietly, as she told him about god. He had never paid too much attention in church, always days dreaming about being outside and being amongst the trees. However listening her explain to him now her hand still on his cheek, Arne understood what she meant
Seeing her smile, and looking at their hands, Arne blushed and looked down at the ground. Arne was unable to admit that he had enjoyed their touch for just a moment. Pulling off his coat, he haneed it to Annabel and smiled. "Incase... cold..."

He seemed to understand which made her smile. You know that was enough spiritual talk for one night, maybe the next time she see him they could talk about it a little more. No for now she was very content just sitting here with his hand laced in her's, thinking the good things that one should think about and feeding off his good energy. Really it was all very lovely in a way.
He had pulled off his jacket and handed it to her in case she was cold and Annabel blushed some before smiling. "Thank you." She said pulling on the jacket and snuggling up in it. She could swim in this thing if she wanted and it was thick and warm and it smelt just like the forest and smoke from the fire and there was something so comforting about that as she yawned and found herself actually sleepy for once in her life.

Looking out through the trees at the water sparkling in the star light, Arne smiled, and inhaled deeply. Earth, pine, oak, grass, he could smell it all, and it was absolutely wonderful. The only thing tat made this better was the feel of Bella sitting so close to him. Her hand felt warm in his grasp, and he smiled as their fingers interlocked. Locking to Bella, as she thanked him, he smiled shyly, and nodded, "Welcome..." He replied quietly, staring at her eyes, before looking back to the lake, his face turning red slightly in the campfire lightly.
Hearing Bella yawn, Arne's head spun towards her, a smile spread across his face. The happy tired look on her face, made him smile widely. Swallowing, Arne hesitated, and then decided to move. Quietly he scooted closer to Bella, again Arne hesitated, before letting go of her hand. Slipping his arm around her shoulders, his other hand taking hers again. Arne stopped though after he had done it, and his mind started racing. What if she didn't like this, what if she got upsety with him? What if she was angry at him for it? Christ what had he down? Pulling away quickly, and moved back to where he had been sitting, and stared at the dirt. "S.. Sorry..."

Another yawn as she eyes fell closed and she started to drift off just sitting there, all wrapped up in the warmth of Arne coat. She felt so safe and comfortable. There was something about him that made her feel so safe and warm, even if there was something dark in him that neither of them totally understood but it was okay. He saw nothing but the good in him so maybe she was reading him wrong, though that has never happened before.
She felt an arm wrap around her and at first she flinched because normally when people touched her it was with the intent to hurt her. Her father with his belt, whispering prayers as he struck her. She was born with the mark of the devil... maybe she had darkness in her too, just like Arne. But no it was the sweetest boy she had met in a very long time, who pulled away when he realized she had flinched. "No no it's okay, it felt very nice." She said moving over to him and looking at him before gently moving back under the boy's arm and closing her eyes. "See it's okay?" Another yawn as her eyes closed. "Are you comfortable?"

She had flinched, cause o him, cause she thought he was evil. Why was it he could never connect to people? He just wanted friends, for once in his life he wanted to have a friend. Someone who wouldn't mind talking to him, and the one person he had met that might fit that bill had just flinched away. Foolish, foolish boy, why had he done that? He was so stupid, he could have kicked himself just then. Maybe if he just left, went out to the dark area of the forest where he had been before. It was quiet there, no one to upset, or become embarrassed by.
Bella's words made Arne lift his head though. Looking towards her, she moved closer, and his brow furrowed in confusion. Why was she coming to his side? She had flinched at his touch? Was this some game American girls played, maybe she was trying to test him? Had he failed, or passed? He didn't know, he didn't even know what the question was. Watching as she slipped under his arm, Arne let a smile crack his face, as she settled against him. Taking her hand in his again, Arne nodded, "I am, okay... are you?" Looking back out over the towards the lake, he grinned, and pointed at the light sparkling on the calm surface. "See? My da, he said those were... ahh..." His brow furrowed again, "Ahh... fairies? I think is the term..."

The only other time she think she had felt this safe, was when he mother use to sing to her. She was so warm and comfy and he wasn't hurting her, it was very odd being held by a man like this and not being hurt by him. Sure Emyr has touched her before but even he had tried to hurt her at some points... But no this was this was...
Another yawn and her eyes fell closed as she heard him mumble something about fairies. "Fairies, lovely..." She said with another tiny little yawn before drifting off to sleep. Even the voices of all those spirits still trying to talk to her just melted away and wow... this boy really did know how to keep her safe.
